Driving Cultural Changes – Breakthrough leadership skills
The Tunisian association, Tunisian Talents United (TTU), held its second forum on November 23, 2018, at the Cité des Métiers in Marseille, under the title “Culture & Mindset Transformation for a brighter Future for Tunisia”. TTU members gathered to explore the possibilities of change in Tunisian culture and mindset, such as transforming criticism into constructive proposals, in civil society and state-owned and private enterprises. The opening speech was given by Mr. Nejib Zaarfani, President of the TTU association, who recalled the values, vision, mission, and objectives of TTU, which bring Tunisian talents and leaders together on a solid and sustainable platform based on the same values, vision, and mission. Participants from several countries, including Tunisia, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, attended this second forum. The guest of honor, Professor Jean Marie LOCHET, former Director of the Ecole Normale d’Aix-En-Provence, then gave a very enriching philosophical speech to share his vision of a society with balanced enterprises. Two roundtable discussions were held on the themes “Driving cultural changes – breakthrough leadership skills” and “Transformational Leadership”, respectively moderated by Mr. Belgacem CHARIAG, Co-founder and member of the TTU Steering Committee, and Ms. Manal Harrathi, new Secretary General of TTU. Among the guests were Mr. Wassim Karkabi, Dubai, and Alexandre Tremblay, Canada. The forum ended with a workshop, where participants were divided into two working groups to contribute to the creation of new ideas on the following themes:
- Cultural change Challenges and Opportunities, Breakthrough leadership skills to drive change
- Innovative Solutions for Tunisia to Excel again, Vision and Outlook of Tunisia for a brighter future
