After graduation in law and post-graduate legal qualification, Ahmed BASSALAH started his career in the Tunisian Air Force, following a French Air Force School Certification.

He joined Shell Group in 1985 in E&P, then in the marketing sector. He held several managerial positions :

Legal – Sales and Marketing – HR – Communications and Crisis management.

He was General Manager (GM) of Shell Tunisia, Chairman of Shell companies in Tunisia and Member of the Board of Shell Du Maroc. Ahmed BASSALAH was also Strategy, then Business Development Advisor to ENOC, Dubai -UAE. He is co-founder and GM of Solartech-Sud, Tunisia (renewable energy applied in agriculture).

Ahmed BASSALAH held many positions in the civil society and was co-founder of many associations:

-Chairman of Tunisian-Netherlands chamber of industry and commerce (still honorary chairman).
-Vice-chairman of the Tunisian – British Friendship association;
-Chairman of “Injaz El Arab Tunisia” (Junior-achievement worldwide);
-Chairman of Tunis Occupational Health association;
-Co-founder of Tunisian Labor Law society.
